I started playing with the TFG4 couple of months ago. I really love the dwell time and control it gives without sacrificing power. Seriously, hitting the ball with this paddle is so much fun for me. I think i going to have a long term, serious relationship with this paddle.
This paddle is the best I have used from any company to date. It does EVERYTHING my CRBN TFG4 did only BETTER. More Power, GREAT spin, solid control on resets, dinks, speed ups, GREAT pop, etc.
The only negative, if you could call it that, is it is not as forgiving as its predecessors. However, this could also be a good thing as you technique, form, skill set HAS to be on point. If you are late, you reach out of the power V zone, or do anything with too much paddle movement...you will pop the ball up or push it to high or far.
The opposite side of that is when you are solid in technique you are rewarded with phenomenal shots with very solid feel of the ball.
The ONLY thing I would ask for would be better, longer lasting, more abrasive grit on the paddle surface. Purpose...same power w/ MORE SPIN that lasts.
If CRBN does this, while keeping the power performance the same or even better, there won't be a paddle on the planet that will touch it.

Really like the barrage compared to the genesis I currently used. More pop without any loss of control.
Best one yet! I’ve been playing with CRBN paddles for the last couple of years. The Barrage is hands down the best yet. The pop is fantastic without sacrificing feel on dinks and resets and the generous sweet make this one a winner!
SOLID paddle.feels so good. Not sure how theycan make A paddle with power AND control but they did it!
A nice step up in pop and power from the genesis 2 without losing control. It was fairly easy to adjust after about a day or so playing.

Truly a great paddle- lasts a long time, looks sleek, plays well even at 5.0+ level games, can bang or control, and great spin.
Ordered the Barrage 4 hybrid and find it a big improvement in pop and power over my Genesis 2 standard size. I may try the Barrage 2 just to get a little bigger sweet spot but it may just take a little getting used to when bangers force me to pop up. Great product. Great service.
The quality of the edge tape is great. nice and clear as advertised. A thickness that definitely offers solid protection. Be sure to wipe your edge guard off or the tape will unpeel.
That being said, it affected my swing weight too much on my CRBN Barrage 4. As soon as I got the paddle I put the edge tape on. After taking it off, I could notice a significant change in the swing weight. Nice and light without the tape. I think it added about .2 of an oz. If you want an edge guard and don't mind a bit of extra weight or you're just not too sensitive to small paddle changes then this edge tape is great.
I'm short, great product but the added extra weight isn't for my style of play.
I like this club, it gives the best opportunity to get to the great pickleball gear at lower prices.

I typically have issues with most PB hats. Even trucker hats don’t let my head breath. I get hot quick. I can start to feel sick if there’s no heat escape from my head. & you can go with a free head out here in Florida. Not being bald 😂
Some days I’m not feeling the billed hat. Or when I’m coaching I’ll wear the bucket hat. It’s stylish and useful for the sun !
