I am an old Guy (79)...A hat wearer for all sports...This is without question the "Lightest Weight and most Breathable Hat" I have ever worn...I just ordered my 2nd one, in White...Tip: I live in N.E. Florida (Hot & Humid)...So, a lot of Sweat...If you will put the hat in the Washing Machine on "Rinse & Spin"... Then in the Dryer on the lowest Heat Cycle for 15 minutes...You are good to go...Enjoy
The aesthetic is obviously top notch, but the fit is even better. Much like the lifestyle (green brimmed and creme colored) hat they offer, it looks excellent, but is lighweight and can be played in as well.
Honestly, Ive just been bringing to courts to show off.
I got to play with the CRBN¹ TruFoam Genesis (Elongated, Long Handle) for the first time this morning, and I have to say, I absolutely loved it.
The paddle feels great in my hand, and the control is outstanding. I was able to place the ball exactly where I wanted, and when it was time to finish the point, there was plenty of power for put-away shots without sacrificing control.
Before this, I had been playing with the SLK ERA Power Pickleball paddle. It's a solid paddle, but after hitting with the CRBN Genesis, I definitely prefer the CRBN. It just feels more connected, more consistent, and gave me more confidence in every aspect of my game.
I also let a friend hit with it for a while. He normally plays with the Omni, and after just a few minutes he wanted to trade paddles. That wasn't happening, I wasn't giving this one up!
The only downside was the shipping. I ordered directly from the factory, and it took quite a bit longer than I expected. That said, once I finally got the paddle in my hands and played with it, it was worth the wait.
Based on my first session, I'd absolutely recommend the CRBN¹ TruFoam Genesis to anyone looking for a paddle that offers excellent control, plenty of power when you need it, and an incredible overall feel. I'm excited to get more court time with it.
My new paddle has changed my game. I feel like I have more control. The ball pops off the paddle. I feel more confident at the kitchen line.
I live in Arizona and the summers get hot. These grips help the grip stay dry. They are much better than the standard grip. They are easy to put on.
The bag is comfortable, stylish and well designed with plenty of pockets for things like, keys and phone and room for water bottles. Side bottle holder a nice touch. It is smaller that ne big touring bag which perfect for me. I play a few hours and then go home. If I was playing an all day tournament and wanted change of clothes, plenty of water and snacks, I would get the larger bag.
The lenses fit the frame perfectly and I have no with glare, not that anyone could put a price on safety, but the price in my opinion is very reasonable. I fully recommend these lenses
The extra lenses for my pickleball safety glasses were packed very well and arrived in perfect condition.
Barrage paddles are the best foam paddles on the market because they are responsive and provide feedback and allow you to tune and optimize your game. I definitely add CRBN tungsten strips to the top edges to increase swing speed and power, while using a CRBN weight coin of the butt, to balance out the paddle, add stability through the swing and increase paddle quickness at the net. These paddles are highly accurate for shot placement, and the perfect combo of powerful topspin line drives and aggressive controlled drinking.
Bought these for my husband, and he loves the fit, color, and style. I ordered a second pair in the other color. Maybe there will be more color options in the future?!
Good flattering marriage and true to size. Size
up if in between sizes.
I currently play CRBN 2X and a 12mm Thomas Wison signature paddles and love them both. The 2x gives me control, and the short handle is great at the no volley line. The TW Signature has amazing power and I really like the extra length that helps me cover more of the court.
My New Purchase.
I recently purchased the CRBN 3X. The reason being it gives me the short handle I like up near the net and the control of the 2x.
The 3x also has surprising power and gives me the extra reach to assist me covering more of the court.
The 3x was definitely a good addition to my PB bag. I could not be happier with my choice.
Absolutely love, love this paddle. I tried several before buying the Barrage. I have tennis elbow and rotator cuff tear. This is the only paddle I could find with a light swing weight and still have power.
Great paddle , nice pop and good control along with it . Feels very good and fast at the kitchen.
