They Story behind CRBN TruFoam Waves
When we launched Genesis, it quickly became a favorite because of its unique mix of control, spin, and dwell time. Players told us it felt balanced and trustworthy in all parts of the game, from resets to finishing points. But over time, we also heard a consistent request. People loved the feel of Genesis but wanted just a little more power behind their shots.
That feedback became the starting point for what is now TruFoam Waves.
We set out to create the next step in our TruFoam line, building on everything players loved about Genesis while dialing up the power. The challenge was making sure we did not lose the qualities that made Genesis so special. Control, spin, and consistency had to stay front and center.
The breakthrough came when we began experimenting with the foam core itself. TruFoam technology already gave Genesis its forgiving sweet spot and smooth feel. For Waves, we reshaped the interior design of the paddle with a wave-like pattern. This subtle but important change allowed us to adjust weight distribution and stability while boosting pop.
What that means on the court is simple. Waves gives you extra power when you drive the ball or finish points, but it still feels like a CRBN paddle. You can trust it at the kitchen line, take spin-heavy rolls with confidence, and rely on the same consistent sweet spot that Genesis delivered.
The name Waves comes from both the design inside the paddle and the feel it creates. There is a rhythm to it. Shots flow off the face with more energy, yet the paddle remains stable in your hand.
Developing Waves was not about chasing trends or reinventing the wheel. It was about listening to players, understanding what they wanted next, and putting in the work to make it happen. The result is an evolution of Genesis that pushes the TruFoam line forward in a way that feels natural.
We are proud of what the team created here. Waves is powerful, but it is also controlled and dependable. It takes everything we built with Genesis and adds another gear.
